Robert Squier - HLSM Illustrator & Graphic Designer Wins Top Awards

Recently, Harbour Light’s very own, and extremely talented illustrator and graphic designer Robert Squier, was presented with the Best in Show and the People’s Choice Awards at the SCBWI New England Conference in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators – (SCBWI) established in 1971 is a prestigious professional organization specifically for writers, illustrators, and those sharing a vital interest and talent in children's literature, magazines, film, television, and multimedia.

Last month, Squier attended the New England Regional Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators conference, where he entered his work in a poster competition themed Moments of Change, and was honored with the two top awards.

As an illustrator, Robert works in both traditional and digital media, and is recognized nationally in the children’s publishing market. Under the management of  Portfolio Solutions LLC, his most recent publishing was featured in the May 2010 issue of Highlight’s Children Magazine.

In addition to his talented career as an illustrator, Squier works as the lead graphic designer on the Harbour Light Strategic Marketing team.
